I bet they went HDDVD, for two reasons..
a) To smack a few punches on the PS3
b) Because it probably worked out alot cheaper for them..
As much as you come accross as a PS3 fanboy and me being an xbox 360 owner.. I have to agree with you on the xbox live's lack of ability to play large scale lagless games. The way forward is to play via dedicated servers running linux or windows, not a console Os, checkout counterstrike etc.

You make yourself sound stupid by talking about how good a Trailer looks on your 50" plasma.
Never assume or mistake a trailer for ingame functionality. They really are not worthy of any praise when comparing across platforms..

It'd be awesome to get 100mb, though they might cap usage.. Would be great to host dedicated servers, this is where the PS3 will shine more and the 360's closed gaming experience will feel limiting..
As for CS on the PC, that'll rule the waves even more.
btw. I'm a 360 owner before you trash talk me down and have no intention of getting a PS3.
